My name is Susan Armstrong and I live in Calgary, Canada. Over the past five years I have discovered that my real passion is about exploring the world and taking Wildlife Photographs. I strive to interfere as little as possible with my subjects and to photograph animals in their natural state. You will never find me sticking my camera in a nest, calling or baiting any animal. If I see that my presence is causing a disturbance, I leave.
“In the end we will conserve only what we love; we will love only what we understand; and we will understand only what we are taught.” (Baba Dioum, 1968.)
My goal is to spread awareness through my pictures for the preservation and conservation of the animals who share our world. They cannot speak for themselves so I try to aid where I can for their protection.
